Ormeau’s New $100+ Million Community Launches

AVID Property Group (AVID) will celebrate the grand opening of its $100+ million new residential community in Ormeau, Amara, on Saturday 17 September.
The multi-million-dollar development will deliver 180 new turnkey homes as AVID’s latest community in Southeast Queensland and is already appealing to the commuter market.
AVID General Manager Queensland Bruce Harper said the community had already seen demand from buyers who were looking to capitalise on the location, due to its proximity to both the Gold Coast and Brisbane.
“We know that more than one in 10 Gold Coast residents travel to Brisbane for work each day1, and for most, they commute for work to allow them to enjoy the Gold Coast lifestyle during their down time,” Mr Harper said.
“Amara presents a fantastic opportunity for its residents to have the best of both worlds – it offers the lifestyle and amenity of the Coast, whilst being a very easy commute to the Brisbane CBD.”
Mr Harper said the launch of Amara was an important milestone for the local community and is looking forward to seeing its first residents move in.
“This is an exciting milestone, not just for AVID but for the wider Gold Coast community as Amara plays an important role in accommodating demand for new, fully completed housing,” he said.
“We’ve looked to expedite land and completed home delivery across all five of our active Southeast Queensland communities to cater to the market’s appetite, and we’re thrilled to be able to deliver homes to those who are still searching within this competitive market.
“The northern Gold Coast is recognised as one of Queensland’s strongest growth areas and AVID is focused on delivering architecturally designed, functional homes in authentic communities, just as we intended on with Amara.”
As labour and building material supply shortages continues to interrupt the construction industry, Amara’s Villaworld Homes by AVID product provides relief for buyers.
“We appreciate there are many in the industry struggling with demand and supply, so we’re fortunate to have our own team of builders available with Villaworld Homes by AVID,” Mr Harper said.
