The development of an AVID community starts long before the first sod is turned and the foundations that create a sense of place are built long before the walls of homes go up. AVID draws on its collective development, customer and community experience of over 40 years and places meticulous attention to detail through the design and planning phase and at every step along the journey.
Community is conceptualised, built and fostered over many years, and even decades, so a critical element of creating places that people want to live is in reviewing the masterplan frequently, to ensure an AVID community continues to deliver on the lifestyle our residents are seeking.
Our place management implements the best process and delivery for a new community in the short term and long term, interwoven with benchmarks to deliver better social, environmental, design and commercial outcomes for all.

Environmental and resource sustainability is not only central to all our operations, it’s rigorously measured against international benchmarks. Sustanability at a social-level is about creating connected communities where people genuinely feel they belong. We co-ordinate local events where people can come together. We contribute ideas and resources to community clubs, schools, workshops, meetings, and social media conversations to help communities grow. But we’re also focused on the broader community’s sustainability by drawing upon the local workforce and suppliers, helping contribute to the regional economy and providing ongoing economic stimulus and employment via the industrial, retail, and commercial projects we create. By focusing on value at every price point and delivering innovative solutions to meet the needs of emerging markets, we contribute to the economic stability of families, businesses, and entire communities.

We Think Beyond
Our focus is toward greater health and wellbeing through facilities and programs that encourage an active and dynamic lifestyle for residents. AVID Property Group is the first, large-scale residential developer to have achieved EnviroDevelopment accreditation across each one of our communities. This is an entire group-effort and is the result of every arm of our business being committed to delivering best practice in environmental and resource sustainability, and actively encouraging that same commitment from our partners, suppliers, stakeholders and our communities.
